How we maintain the directory
The teams directory is rebuilt every morning from the official league feeds. Last-five results are cross-checked with the broadcaster’s scorecard; next-three fixtures are verified against the league’s published schedule.
Form is presented in order
We never reorder form to flatter the team. The first result in the list is the most recent, the last is the oldest. Form reads from left to right.
Injuries are confirmed
Injuries are listed only when confirmed by the team or the official league feed. Rumoured injuries stay out of the team page until they’re confirmed.
Squad changes are dated
If a squad change happens mid-week, the team page carries a dated update note. The change is not folded into the page silently.
How we report on the bench
The squad-depth section of a team page is the most-read section, in our experience. Readers want to know who’s available, who’s a rotation risk, and which bench player might break into the starting XI before the next fixture.
We file a squad-depth note before each fixture, with the confirmed XI where available and the rotation risk called out. The note is updated if the XI changes in the hour before kick-off.

When a match ends, the verified final score is added to the team’s last-five-results table within ninety seconds. The update is timestamped.
Squad-watch notes are filed manually
Squad-watch notes are filed by the reporter assigned to the team. The note carries the date, the source and the role change described.
Recent reporting is curated
The recent-reporting section is curated, not automated. The desk editor selects the three most useful recent pieces for the reader’s next decision.
